Last Sunset of the Year 2004

Okay, I had just came back yesterday from Perth. Hehe...I rode the new Boeing aeroplane, the one with the personal TV ;). Fortunately, my TV worked. So I watched Shark Tale and The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement. Not bad, not bad. Some parts are funny though =). Let me now write a comment on this year.

Year 2004, an OK year for me, has come to a close. With only a few hours remaining, people all around the world are ready to enter to the year 2005. What happens is that the Earth has once again completed its full orbit around the Sun. Congratulations! Lol...

Now it's the perfect time to write down my New Year's Resolution. Umm...resolutions. Easy to make, easy to break. I am serious! People make promises to themselves that they will ___(insert resolution), but they never stick to it. Its hard. But it is still fun to make some, but if you do accomplish it, the feeling is great, isn't it?

Now I will list down a couple of New Year's Resolution that I hope it will happen:

Now I will list those items that I hope I could get next year. Call it a WishList.

Yea, that's it for this year I guess. I wish you guys a very Happy New Year 2005, may all your resolutions come true, and as always, please take care of yourselves, and God bless everyone ^.^ This will be the last post of the year 2004.

Be gone, 2004! Hello, 2005! Happy New Year Everyone! Cheers ^.^

After-Christmas, Before 2005

What I mostly did after Boxing Day is shop, shop, shop, shop till I drop, drop, drop, drop! Can you believe the price? It's insane, I tell you! They slashed down the price like I don't know how to say. 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% discount, maybe a whooping 60% discount! (Whoa!)

So why not take advantage of that? So my family and I shop and shop for 2 whole days! I managed to buy things that I want, and also some other neat things. So many people shopped in the giant shopping centre, I believe it totals up to half the people in Brunei.

Just now, my brothers and my elder brother's girlfriend went out cycling. Hehe, then we lost our way. So we retraced our steps and returned back the bicycles that we rented =). It was nice, although the ride was a bit too fast. I don't really get to enjoy the scenery(since I zoomed about without noticing the surroundings), but the air was refreshing;)

Okay, I will stop here. Not a very description, but a wonderful boring summary of what I did in the last few days. I will be going back to Brunei tomorrow. Sigh~ Holidays are boring, yet time flies by very fast. Oh well, I guess I got to get ready for school in a couple of days. I hope that you guys enjoyed your last holidays. Till then, take care and don't forget to make your New Year's Resolution ;)

Have You Heard About the Asia Quake?

Yesterday, my elder brother, his girlfriend, my dad, my little brother and I were eating at this nice-looking restaurant, when suddenly my brother received a SMS. It was from my Mom. She wrote that a massive earthquake had triggered near Sumatra and has caused tsunamis to hit a number of countries near the Andaman Sea.

"Massive waves triggered by the largest earthquake to shake the planet in more than 40 years have wiped out coastal areas across parts of Asia, killing more than 11,000 people -- most of them in Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India."
Click on the title to get the full-story. You guys should feel lucky that Brunei was unaffected.

70 Cents Make The Difference

Dear Kind Lady in Dymocks(Garden City Branch in Perth) who gave me 70 cents,
Hi! I don't really know how to thank you, but I am really really grateful that you saved me from embarrassment and trouble yesterday by helping me to fully make my payment of books(which I am short of 70 cents >.<). Thank you so uch, may God bless you and your family, take care and Merry Christmas.

Erm, hi guys! I know you all must be surprised that I am in Perth now! (Oh no, again!! =P) Hehehe, I didn't really want to tell people about it because...you know ;). Anyways, let me tell all of you about this. Christmas Shopping can be a REAL DRAG! Okay, let me tell you what actually happened yesterday.

We were supposed to call for a taxi, but I got the number wrong. It is supposed to be 13 13 30, but I told my Dad to call 13 30 30 instead, which leads us to a phone banking service. >.< So we went out to look for taxi, walked to a nearby hotel, and fortunately, this Samaritan decided to walk instead and let us ride the taxi. Thank you ^.^

The taxi brought us to Garden City Shopping Centre. My Dad gave me and my brother a sum of money, which I guess is enough to buy Christmas presents for my family. Now, the problem is that I don't really seem to get enough privacy when buying stuffs. =S My maid and my brother seem to follow me around whenever I try to buy. Oh well. The least is that they won't know which is for them =).

I then decided to go to Dymocks to buy something for a certain someone in my family. So I had about 20+ 1 dollar coins with me. And guess what? I had 70 cents short to buy the items. I panicked, not knowing what to do. I then asked the Cashier to excuse me for a while so that I can get the money. Fortunately, this kind lady who is in line before me helped me pay up the remaining 70 cents. I thanked her gratefully and hurriedly left the shop to avoid any embarrassment. After a half-day of shopping, we finally went back home. Too tired to gift-wrap the gifts, I just leave them until today. Hehe =P

Oh, by the way, have you guys heard about the murder case in Brunei? I wasn't aware of it until yesterday when my brother's girlfriend told me about it. Here is an extract of the story(Borneo Bulletin Weekend, last Saturday) :

"In what could be described as one of the most gruesome crimes in recent times in this country, a couple and their four year old daughter were found brutally killed in their home in Kg Serusop."

The full story can be found here. Why must this happen in Muara? Even though my house is a few kilometres away from the scene, but still, its pretty scary to know that. The world nowadays isn't safe anymore =(.

I just end the post here. I hope you guys have a great Christmas. I see you guys soon when school reopens. Bye!

Just Blogging

Dear Jason Lew told me to do so, so here am I blogging! I was planning to blog today anyway. Nothing new had happened so far since the last post, though(which was like a week ago?!). I had only realized today that Christmas is just around the corner when Soon Lee played some Seasonal songs. Ugh~

Christmas. The time of giving and receiving gifts. That's what its mainly all about, I guess. And that means I need to do some Christmas shopping to buy some gifts for my family, but not to you guys =P. I really cannot afford to buy so much, haha... I won't actually shop for gifts in Brunei though, the goods are are mostly...err...can you say cheap? LOL

Oh, by the way, I won't bother changing the site's layout, because I am really "busy" doing some..eerrr...playing?! Haha...Don't worry, I will do so next year =P.

This is a message to all St. Andrew's people:
"Hey guys, you all buy your school books already. Because bookshops nationwide are going to run out of stocks soon! And hey, I was the lucky one to get the last copy of Maths 3A Textbook ^.^"

That's all, folks. Tune in next time for more updates!
